Modernising Onboarding & Site Induction Through Video

Traditional onboarding and site inductions often rely heavily on presentations, documents and long briefings. While necessary, these formats can lead to information overload during induction days, reduced engagement from attendees, inconsistent delivery of key messages across sites, and missed opportunities to reinforce organisational values.

For The Momentum Group, every interaction with employees and contractors is an opportunity to communicate the standards and mindset expected on their projects. They needed a way to deliver key information efficiently while ensuring people remained engaged and receptive to the message.

We worked with The Momentum Group to create a welcome and induction video series designed to support both new starter onboarding and site induction for contractors and visitors.

The content focused on communicating three key areas:

Organisational Culture — A welcome video introducing new starters to the company's values, expectations and commitment to high standards.

Site Expectations and Safety — Clear guidance for contractors and visitors attending managed and construction sites.

Consistency Across Locations — A format that ensures every person arriving on-site receives the same high-quality induction experience.

The videos were designed to be easily integrated into existing induction programmes, helping break up longer sessions while keeping attention and engagement high.
